HAL PRAVARA: WHERE DREAMS SOAR

About Us

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL)-Pravara Aviation Institute, Ojhar, Nashik, was set up through an MoU as part of HAL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Pravara Rural Education Society’s (PRES’) urge to spread quality education in aviation.

Starting from 10 teachers and 28 students in 2009, we have broadened to 20 teachers and 138 students in 2018-19. A result oriented institute, we are tied up with multiple airlines for practical training. Already, 21 of our students have been recruited in 2018-19, and the number swells to 200+ when we consider placements over the past 5 years.

Aviation is a practical field and we encourage students to build mock ups to be ready for the challenges thrown at them by real-world experienced. For the same purpose, we conduct extra classes and mock tests during the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA ) examination and have specialist faculty from HAL coach our students.

Indian aviation sector plays a crucial role in promoting trade and tourism. Low cost carriers and modernized airports are booming the Indian civil aviation sector, creating countless opportunities for aviation students. And we intend to make the most of it for our students!
